The EU tells me

What I should EAT and then tells me I’m obese;

What hours I can DRINK & Where I can SMOKE;

What Food & Alcohol advertisements I can or cannot read;

What adverts OUR sports organisations can &cannot use;

What Quality of AIR I can breathe;

What type of Light bulb I can have and now that I SHOULD INSTALL ‘SMART METERS’ to tell me when to turn them on and off,

How my electricity can’t and can be produced;

That I SHOULD BE LIVING IN AN ECO HOUSE with 1.5 car parking spaces.

It decides what TYPE OF HOUSE I can have near me

and

how MANY HOUSES PER HECTARE we must cram in, and even WHAT NATIONALITY CAN LIVE IN THEM.

How I must SORT OUT MY RUBBISH and how much rubbish I am ALLOWED, and WHAT CONTAINERS I MUST PUT IT

whilst paying even moreCarbon Footprint council  taxes;

It tells my council

WHERE AND HOW TO DISPOSE OF IT,

and WHEN!

and then

‘FINES’ them for any additional amounts;

It tells ME, the PARENT/the TEACHER/the POLICEMAN

NOT TO DISCIPLINE OUR CHILDREN and then,

when they commit an offence ,

TO AFIX an ASBO on them WHEN 70% don’t pay any attention to;

And now they tell me that 50% of my children SHOULD GO TO UNIVERSITY,

but, ONLY after they have LEARNED ALL ABOUT THE EU.

It tells my SHOPS HOW TO WEIGH ITEMS and WHAT SHAPES it can sell

and then to CHARGE ME an INFLATED PRICE.

It tells my COMPANY how many HOURS I CAN WORK and

at what AGE I CAN RETIRE;

What Age, Sex, and Ethnic group I CAN EMPLOY;

It CLOSES DOWN MY POST OFFICE and tells my Government NOT to use MY TAXES to subsidise the rural village ones.

It tells my FISHERMAN friend when, HE IS ALLOWED and HOW TO FISH;

It tells my FARMER friend what he CAN GROW AND HOW MUCH OF ITWHAT FERTILISERS TO USE

whilst at the same time giving the French farmers AND BANKS vast subsidies out of OUR CAP Fund.

It tells my BUS DRIVER how long he can drive for; it is going to tell all of us NOT TO USE GPS for directions but to use the more EXPENSIVE GALILEO EUROPEAN SATELLITE;

It tells our hospitals how long their doctors can work- RISKING lives.

AND the EU TELLS MY GOVERNMENT WHAT TO DO and WHAT IT CAN’T DO!
