The following event is soon to be happening in Dorset.

We hope that you will be able to join us .


All our are meetings are open so you do not have to be a member to attend.

Charlton Marshall – Additionally we hold regular monthly meetings which are open to members, prospective members, their friends and anyone who is interested in UKIP. These are held usually on the first Thursday of each month and are very informal. Come and enjoy the food, drink, and chat – however there is no requirement to eat! Recent Events

Swanage – Wednesday 31st March 2010 at 7.30pm. Speakers were Trevor Coleman SWMEP and Mike Hobson who is the Parliamentary Candidate for South Dorset.Special Guest speaker was Mark Turner, father of Michael who was imprisoned in Hungary without trial, but released following the intervention of UKIP MEP William Dartmouth. Additional speakers were Steve Crowther, assistant to Trevor Coleman and Helen Crowe, an opposer of the proposed Windfarm in East Stoke.  Venue was the Mowlem Theatre, Shore Road, Swanage, BH19 1DD. Bournemouth – Thursday 8th April 2010 at 7.15pm. Speakers were the party leader Lord Pearson and William Dartmouth SWMEP as well as Jeremy Nieboer the Dorset North Parliamentary Candidate. Weymouth – Friday 9th April 2010 at 7pm. Speakers were former party leader Nigel Farage SEMEP, William Dartmouth SWMEP and South Dorset Parliamentary Candidate Mike Hobson. Salisbury - Thursday 15th April 2010 at 7.30pm. Just over the border into Wiltshire but featuring a Dorset candidate. Speaking on the latest on the EU Arrest Warrant was SW MEP William Dartmouth ; on Global Warming - a Lesson in Democracy? was Dorset North Parliamentary Candidate and Salisbury Solicitor Jeremy Nieboer; and additionally the UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Salisbury Frances Howard spoke concerning Salisbury's Plan - 13,680 more houses. Dorset was pleased to announce that we had a Parliamentary Candidate

in every seat in the General Election this year. All bar one were able

to attend the Dorset Campaign launchin Poole in at the end of February

with Special Guest William Dartmouth, one of our two South West MEPs.

They are from left:

David Hughes - Bournemouth East.   Nick Wellstead - Poole.

Dave Evans - Mid-Dorset and North Poole.

William Dartmouth MEP - local MEP not PC.

Mike Hobson - South Dorset.   David Williams -  Christchurch.

Philip Glover - Bournemouth West.   Jeremy Nieboer - Dorset North.

Here is how they all fared in the 2010 General Election on the 6th May.

In the European Elections in June 2009 UKIP came 2nd in Dorset with 5003 votes countywide. This time we have more than tripled that vote to 18,886.

A big thank you to all of you who voted for us and to all those hard working activists and candidates who canvassed, leafletted and attended and organised meetings across Dorset.

A heartfelt thanks to the kind donors who enabled us to purchase leaflets, posters etc to help us get our important message over to the people of Dorset.
